Product Identity

This downloadable content pack adds a new playable culture to the strategy game Total War: Attila. It is intended for existing owners of the base game on Steam who want to expand their faction roster. The content is delivered as an online code requiring a Steam account for activation. Regional restrictions apply to the activation key.

Faction Gameplay Changes

The Viking Forefathers Culture Pack introduces The Norsemen culture with three distinct factions: the Geats, the Jutes, and the Danes. These factions are playable in single-player campaigns, multiplayer campaigns, and custom battles. The Danes gain access to the Drekkar Dragonship unit with unique troop variants, altering naval combat options. New mechanics focus on raiding and looting gameplay styles.

Suitability And Limits

This pack suits strategy players who already own Total War: Attila on Steam and want additional cultural variety. It is not usable without the base game installed. Buyers in blocked regions including Russia, China, Japan, and most of Latin America cannot activate the code. Players seeking standalone gameplay or content for other Total War titles should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I keep this DLC working if I change my Steam account or reinstall Windows?

The pack is tied to your Steam library; as long as you log into the same Steam account and own the base game Total War: Attila, the DLC will re-download and activate automatically.

Will my save files or the DLC itself stop working after a certain number of campaign turns or hours played?

No turn or time limit exists; the Norsemen culture and its factions remain available for every new or continued campaign once the DLC is installed.

Does running this DLC all day make my PC louder, hotter or draw noticeably more power than the base game alone?

The DLC adds only new faction data and art assets; it does not increase GPU or CPU load beyond what the base game already requires.
