Medieval: Total War Collection Bundle

The Medieval: Total War Collection bundles the original Medieval: Total War strategy game with its official Viking Invasion expansion. Published by Sega under model 37319, the package delivers two complete titles in a single Steam download code. It is built for players who want the full medieval grand-strategy experience without purchasing the base game and add-on separately.

Digital download with Steam DRM

The product is delivered as an online game code that activates on Steam, so no physical media, disc drive or shipping wait are involved. A Steam account and an internet connection are required for activation and installation. The minimum system requirements call for a 1 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM and a DirectX 9 graphics card running Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7, keeping hardware demands modest for modern PCs.

Region-locked activation for select countries

Activation is restricted to specific territories; the supplier lists numerous blocked regions including AF, BY, CF, CD, CU, IR, IQ, KP, LB, LY, MM, RU, SO, SD, SY, UA, VE, YE, ZW, SS, CN, ID, JP, KR, MY, PH, QA, SA, SG, TW, TH, VN and HK. Buyers located in those countries will not be able to redeem the code. No additional software, soundtrack or art book is included beyond the two games themselves.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Medieval: Total War Collection after buying the online game code?

Redeem the code in your Steam account, then download and install the bundle through the Steam client. The step people miss is ensuring the Steam account region is not among the blocked countries listed for this product.

What future maintenance will this downloadable bundle require?

No physical media upkeep is needed; future maintenance consists of Steam client updates and any game patches released by the publisher to maintain compatibility with newer Windows versions beyond XP, Vista, and Windows 7.

What performance limit appears first during long campaign sessions with large armies?

The on-screen unit cap of 10,000 soldiers combined with the 512 MB minimum RAM requirement means memory and rendering load become the bottleneck during epic battles in extended play.
