DLC for Total War: WARHAMMER II

This downloadable add-on adds the Tomb Kings race to Total War: WARHAMMER II. It is for players who already own the base game on Steam and want a new faction with distinct mechanics. The content unlocks four Legendary Lords and a campaign style focused on dynasty management rather than vortex control. A Steam account and the base game are required to play.

Sustained campaign experience

The Tomb Kings do not compete for the vortex, so long sessions revolve around managing dynasties, constructing mortuary cults and expanding across the Mortal Empires map. Their economy uses no gold, shifting the pacing toward careful army composition and settlement development over many turns. Unique lore mechanics keep the strategic loop consistent from early expansion through late-game dominance.

Upgrade from the base roster

This DLC replaces the standard race selection with a faction that ignores gold upkeep and vortex rituals. The jump is worth it for players who want a slower, economy-free campaign that rewards long-term planning and thematic army building. Buyers who want more playable races without new mechanics or who do not own the base game will not benefit.

Questions about this item

Does the Rise of the Tomb Kings DLC add any background load that increases heat or fan noise during long campaign sessions?

The DLC adds new race mechanics and campaigns but does not change the base game's engine load; heat and noise remain whatever your PC produces running Total War: WARHAMMER II.

What must I already own on Steam before I can activate the 45054 code?

You need a Steam account and the base game Total War: WARHAMMER II installed; the code only unlocks the Tomb Kings race inside that game.

Will the Tomb Kings campaign run on a Windows 7 64-bit system that meets the base game's minimum specs?

Yes, the DLC shares the same minimum requirements as the base game, so a Windows 7 64-bit PC that runs Total War: WARHAMMER II will run the Tomb Kings content.
