Historical Strategy Game

Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia is a downloadable strategy and action game published by Sega under model 45189. The title places players in the British Isles during 878 AD after Alfred the Great checked the Viking invasion at Edington. A Steam account is required to activate and install the online game code.

Region-Locked Steam Activation

The product uses Steam DRM and cannot be activated in a long list of blocked countries including the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan and many others. Buyers must verify their location against the supplied country codes before purchase because the key will not work in restricted territories.

For Grand-Campaign Strategists

This game suits players who want a focused historical sandbox set in Anglo-Saxon Britain rather than a globe-spanning empire builder. It does not suit buyers who need activation in blocked regions, those without a Steam account, or anyone looking for a physical disc or DRM-free installer.

Questions about this item

Will I need to renew or repurchase the Steam activation code for model 45189 later?

No, the online game code activates Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia on Steam once and the licence stays attached to your account permanently.

What stops me from playing the strategy title continuously once it is installed?

The product is blocked in a long list of countries including GB, FR, DE, JP and many others; if your Steam region is on that list the game will not launch.

Does the downloadable package add noticeable heat or fan noise during long sessions?

The code itself produces no heat or noise; only your PC hardware generates those while running the game.
