Hockey Management Simulator

Eastside Hockey Manager is a sports simulation game published by Sega that lets you take full control of a professional hockey franchise. It is designed for players who want a deep, text-driven management experience rather than on-ice action. The title has graduated from Steam Early Access into a full release with complete roster management tools.

Steam DRM and Region Restrictions

This product is an online game code that activates exclusively through the Steam platform, requiring a Steam account for installation. Activation is blocked in a large list of specific countries and regions, making the code unusable for buyers located in those territories. A stable internet connection is required for the initial activation process.

Legacy Windows Compatibility

The game runs on older Windows versions from XP through 8 with modest hardware demands: a 1 GHz processor, 256 MB RAM, and a graphics card with 128 MB VRAM such as a GeForce FX 5900 Ultra or Radeon 9800. It requires DirectX 9.0, 800 MB of storage space, and a minimum display resolution of 1024 x 768. It does not support modern operating systems or macOS and Linux platforms.

Questions about this item

Will the 1 GHz processor requirement let the game run on a modern laptop?

The minimum spec lists Intel Pentium 3, Intel Core or AMD Athlon at 1 GHz or higher, so any current processor that meets or exceeds that baseline will run the title.

Does the Steam DRM mean I need a permanent internet connection to play?

Steam is required for activation and installation; after the initial online setup the game can be launched in Steam's offline mode.

Will the 128 MB video memory minimum work with integrated graphics like Intel GMA X3100?

Yes, the spec explicitly names Intel GMA X3100 with 128 MB VRAM as a supported minimum graphics option.
