Sega G3Q-02202 Sonic Superstars downloadable game

New Sonic platformer for Xbox and Windows

Sonic Superstars is a digital download published by Sega under model G3Q-02202. It brings classic 2D high-speed sidescrolling action into fully 3D graphics with new Emerald powers and environments. The game is rated E for Everyone and supports play on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Windows 10 or 11. It suits players who want a fresh take on classic Sonic gameplay.

DRM limited to Xbox consoles and Windows PCs

The digital code activates only on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Windows 10 or 11 through the Microsoft Store. Owners of PlayStation, Switch or Steam Deck cannot redeem or run this version. Buyers must ensure they have an active Microsoft account and internet access for the initial download. No physical media or alternative store keys are included.

Local and online multiplayer up to eight players

The campaign supports drop-in drop-out four-player local co-op so friends can join or leave without interrupting progress. Battle Mode extends competition to eight players online or locally. Performance under sustained load depends on the host hardware and network stability rather than the game code itself. Players seeking persistent dedicated servers or larger lobbies will not find them here.
