Connects USB 3.0 devices to industrial networks via DIN rail mounting with 12-48 V power input
The SEH INU-100 device server connects non-networked USB equipment to a TCP/IP network for remote control and monitoring. It is built for industrial environments where USB peripherals must be managed from a central location. Installation uses a standard 35 mm DIN rail mount and a flexible 12 to 48 V power input. The UTN Manager software handles manual or automatic connection setup.
The unit draws power from a wide-range 12 to 48 V supply, keeping consumption low in typical cabinet installations. No active cooling is fitted, so operation stays silent in noise-sensitive areas. The compact DIN rail form factor allows dense mounting without airflow constraints. Steady performance is maintained across the full input voltage range.
This server replaces direct USB cabling or legacy serial links that cannot reach across a facility network. It adds Ethernet access to existing USB instruments, scanners, or serial adapters without replacing those devices. The integrated relay offers an extra switched output for auxiliary equipment control. The jump is worth it when remote USB access and centralised management become essential.

Clip the unit onto a standard 35 mm DIN EN 60715 top-hat rail inside the cabinet, then connect the power terminals to a 12 V to 48 V DC source; the step often missed is tightening both terminal screws so vibration cannot loosen the supply leads.
The internal relay that switches the second attached device is a mechanical contact and will wear after many switching cycles; the USB 3.0 port and Ethernet jack are solid-state but should be inspected for dust or corrosion during scheduled cabinet maintenance.
Sustained USB 3.0 traffic can saturate the single Gigabit Ethernet uplink, so network bandwidth becomes the bottleneck before the device server itself overheats or throttles.
