Mobile thermal label printer with Bluetooth and USB connectivity prints 58 mm roll labels at 80 mm per second and includes a tear bar cutter
The Seiko Instruments MP-B20-B02JK1-74 is a 2-inch mobile thermal label printer built for retail, hospitality, healthcare and logistics staff who need receipt or label output on the move. It uses thermal line dot printing at 80 mm per second with a resolution of 8 dots per mm. Bluetooth and USB interfaces connect to Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 devices, while SDKs support Android and iOS integration for mobile POS workflows such as pay-at-the-table.
A lithium-ion battery and belt clip enable cordless shifts, and the USB cable supplied provides wired charging and data transfer. The tear-bar cutter handles roll paper up to 58 mm wide and 40 mm diameter, delivering a 48 mm print width. An optional cradle offers desktop charging but is sold separately. The printer accepts Code39, Code128, QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF417 and other symbologies without needing ink or toner cartridges.
The chassis is rated to withstand drops of up to 5 feet, protecting the print mechanism during daily handling in warehouses or dining rooms. Sustained printing at 80 mm per second is maintained by the thermal line head of 384 dots per line, avoiding the slowdown that can occur when smaller buffers fill. The 0.39 lb weight and compact 1.73 by 3.11 by 4.33 inch footprint keep the unit balanced on a belt or in a hand during extended use.

The printer uses thermal line dot printing at 80 mm/s with 384 dots per line; sustained high-volume jobs will trigger the internal thermal protection, which pauses printing until the head cools to a safe temperature.
The mobile thermal unit runs quietly because it has no impact mechanism; the chassis warms noticeably after continuous rolls but stays within the operating limits for handheld use.
The printer pairs over Bluetooth with Android or iOS devices running the vendor SDK, and it also connects via USB to Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or 10 hosts.
