What it is and who it's for

Three retractable badge reels built with zinc-alloy cases and UHMWPE fiber cords. They suit factory workers, nurses, office staff and students who need a durable way to keep ID cards, keys or fobs within reach.

The spec that decides fit

Each reel extends to 27 inches and is rated for over 100,000 pulls, so the cord length and cycle life determine whether it matches the daily swipe frequency of your workplace.

Capacity and headroom

The spring holds up to 150 g or 5.3 oz, enough for a badge plus a few keys; heavier key clusters or bulky multi-tool fobs will exceed the retraction force and may not retract fully.

Questions about this item

How much weight can the 150 g retraction force actually hold on a belt clip?

The reel supports items up to 150 g or 5.3 oz such as keys, ID cards and badges without sliding off the clip.

What does the 27 inch cord length mean for daily use?

The UHMWPE fiber cord extends 27 inches so you can swipe a badge or reach a lock while the reel stays clipped to your belt or bag.

Will the 1.28 inch diameter case fit through a standard belt loop?

The 1.28 inch zinc alloy case is about pocket watch size and clips onto belts, waistbands or sturdy pockets rather than threading through loops.
