5,000 galvanised 18-gauge finishing nails, 5/8 in long with brad heads, glue-collated in strips for 18-gauge pneumatic tools
Senco AX10EAA collated finishing nails are 5/8 inch, 18 gauge galvanized steel brads supplied in a strip of 5000 pieces. They are made for finish carpenters and trim installers who use 18 gauge pneumatic nailers for interior moulding, cabinetry and light assembly work. The glue collation feeds cleanly through compatible tools. Buyers who need longer fasteners or a different gauge for structural framing cannot use this pack.
The smooth shank and conical point drive consistently through hardwood and softwood without splitting when the tool pressure is set correctly. Galvanized coating resists corrosion during extended interior jobs where humidity varies. The 0.039 inch shank diameter and 7/64 inch brad head hold trim securely while leaving a minimal hole for putty. Continuous firing on dense stock may require pauses to prevent tool overheating.
Load the strip into any 18 gauge finish nailer that accepts glue-collated straight nails and adjust depth for the material thickness. Most issues come from incorrect air pressure causing over-driving or proud heads, or from using a nailer designed for a different collation angle. Jammed strips usually clear by removing the magazine and reseating the first nail.
