Two #2 Robertson square-drive bits in S2 steel with 1/4-inch hex shanks, 7-1/2 inches long
The Senco EA0272 package supplies two #2 square-recess power bits built from S2 steel. Each bit measures 7 1/2 inches overall with a 1/4-inch hex shank that fits standard drill chucks and quick-change adapters. The unfinished finish preserves the natural surface of the hardened alloy. These bits target tradespeople driving Robertson fasteners in wood, decking and cabinetry work.
S2 steel resists rounding and cam-out when seating deep square-drive screws. The single-end design concentrates hardness at the working tip while the 1/4-inch hex shank locks securely in impact drivers or drill chucks without slipping. Because the bits are not impact rated, they perform best with standard rotary drills and screwguns rather than high-torque impact tools. The two-piece pack keeps a spare on hand for extended jobs.
These bits directly replace dull or damaged #2 square bits specified for Senco DS325AC and DS340AC fastening systems. The jump is worth it when existing bits begin to strip recess corners, slowing drive speed and risking fastener damage. Buyers needing impact-rated bits or sizes other than #2 should look elsewhere.

The bits feature a Robertson square recess style with a #2 tip size.
The bits have a 1/4 in hex shank that fits standard hex chucks.
Insert the hex shank fully until it locks; the error is leaving it partially seated so it slips under load.
