These Senco EA0298 bits fit a #2 Robertson recess and are made from S2 steel for general fastening tasks. The 1/4-inch hex shank works with standard drill chucks and bit holders. Two pieces are included so a spare is on hand when one wears down.

Practical limits of the hex shank

The 1/4-inch hex shank engages most drill chucks and quick-change holders, but it is not impact-rated and can round off under high-torque impact driving. The 6 3/4-inch overall length reaches deep recesses yet may not clear very tight spaces. S2 steel resists wear in normal use but is not hardened for continuous hammer action.

Replaces worn #2 square bits

Swap these in when existing #2 square bits strip or round out, restoring clean engagement with Robertson screws. The two-pack covers immediate replacement and a backup for the next job. The jump is worth it when fastener heads start camming out, signalling the old bit has lost its edges.
