Quest-ready 16.4 ft USB 3.2 Gen1 link cable

This 16.4 ft USB 3.2 Gen1 cable connects a compatible gaming PC to Quest 3 or Quest 2 headsets for PC VR gaming. It delivers 5120 megabytes per second data transfer and 3 A fast charging so the headset stays powered during long sessions. The male-to-female connector arrangement supports the Quest Link programme with low latency. It is built for VR enthusiasts who need freedom of movement beyond short stock cables.

90° right-angle USB-C with grip handle and cable tie

The 90° right-angle USB-C plug sits flush against the headset port, reducing strain and accidental disconnects during active play. An integrated grip handle and non-slip surface make insertion and removal easy without damaging the connector. A supplied cable tie secures the cable to the headset strap, preventing interface wobble that can cause blurred visuals. The flexible, lightweight jacket resists snagging and is suitable for daily charging when not used for VR.

Replaces short stock cables for room-scale VR

This cable replaces the short charging cable included with Quest headsets, enabling room-scale experiences that a 3 ft tether cannot support. The upgrade is worth it when your PC has a USB 3.0, 3.1 or 3.2 port and meets the headset's minimum GPU requirements for Link. It is not for users whose systems only offer USB 2.0 ports or fall below the recommended graphics performance.

Questions about this item

What real-world data rate does the USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface deliver?

The cable supports up to 5 Gbps, which is the practical ceiling of the USB 3.2 Gen 1 standard.

What clearance does the 90° USB-C connector need behind the headset?

The right-angle plug sits flush against the Quest 2 or Quest 3 port, so only a few millimetres of space behind the headstrap is required.

How do I install the cable so the headset does not lose tracking from cable tug?

Plug the USB-A end into a 3.0, 3.1 or 3.2 port, connect the 90° USB-C end to the headset, then secure the supplied cable tie around the strap to anchor the cable and stop it pulling the connector.
