SHARKK 18W USB-C Wall Charger

The SHARKK HYP-18PD-2000 is an 18-watt USB-C power adapter designed for smartphones and tablets. It delivers adaptive outputs of 5V/3A, 9V/2A, and 12V/1.5A through a single USB-C port. The unit features a fixed US-style wall plug housed in rigid white plastic. One charger is included per order.

Travellers needing one compact charger

This charger suits users who want a single USB-C brick for a phone or tablet while travelling. It is not for buyers who need multiple ports to charge several devices at once. It is also not for anyone requiring a detachable cable or international plug adapters. Laptop owners needing higher wattage should look at a different power supply.

Fits any US outlet with a USB-C cable

The fixed prongs plug directly into a standard US wall socket, freeing up a power strip outlet. You must supply your own USB-C cable to connect the device. The 18-watt output handles phone and tablet charging without a bulky desktop power brick. No extra mounting hardware or adapters are required.

Questions about this item

Does this charger need a separate cable to connect my phone?

Yes, it has a single USB-C port so you must supply a USB-C cable that fits your device.

Will it fast-charge an older phone that only accepts 5 V input?

It negotiates 5 V at 3 A with devices that do not support higher voltages, so they still charge at the maximum rate they allow.

How can I confirm the adapter is delivering the 18 W rating after I plug it in?

Use a USB-C power meter or check the phone's battery settings to see a charge rate near 18 W when the battery is low.
