Sharp DMD/DLP Replacement Chip

This OEM DMD/DLP replacement chip is engineered for Sharp PG-D2500X, D2510X and D2710X projectors. It restores the imaging engine so the projector can produce a clear picture again. The component is supplied new and has been extensively tested at least three times to verify zero dead pixels. It is a direct fit for the listed models.

Compatible Projectors and Exclusions

This part suits owners of the PG-D2500X, D2510X or D2710X who need to replace a failed DMD/DLP imager. It is not for users of other Sharp projector series or different brands because the chip architecture and mounting differ. Buyers who want a complete optical block or a lamp module should look elsewhere. The component addresses the imager only.

30-Day Warranty Coverage

The chip carries a 30-day warranty from the supplier. This limited period covers early-life defects such as dead pixels or imaging faults discovered after installation. It does not extend to labour, shipping or damage caused during fitting. Buyers requiring longer protection should arrange their own extended cover.

Questions about this item

How much power does the Sharp DMD/DLP replacement chip draw during continuous projection?

The component itself has no published power-draw figure; total consumption depends on the PG-D2500X, D2510X or D2710X projector it is installed in.

Which tools or parts are required before fitting this chip into a Sharp projector?

You need a compatible PG-D2500X, D2510X or D2710X projector, a clean workspace, anti-static precautions and the service manual for disassembly and optical alignment.

Will this chip work in a Sharp projector that is not a PG-D2500X, D2510X or D2710X?

No — the chip is specified only for the PG-D2500X, D2510X and D2710X models; other Sharp projectors use different DMD assemblies.
