Sharp SPC483CAMZ Digital Alarm Clock
The Sharp SPC483CAMZ is a compact, battery-operated digital alarm clock with a tactile rubberized charcoal black finish. It features a large 1-inch LCD display and top-mounted button controls for straightforward operation. Designed for portability, it runs on two AAA batteries so it can be placed anywhere without a power outlet.
Replacing Plug-In Clocks
This clock replaces mains-powered units that tether you to a wall socket, making it ideal for travel, guest rooms or spaces with limited outlets. The jump is worth it when you need a lightweight timekeeper that moves between bedside, desk and bathroom without rewiring. It lacks radio, projection or smart features, so buyers who want streaming audio or app control should look elsewhere.
Capacity and Headroom
The 1-inch LCD provides clear visibility across a typical bedroom or office. The on-demand blue backlight illuminates the display for five seconds per press, preserving battery life during night-time checks. The ascending alarm with a nine-minute snooze cycle handles daily wake-ups, but the clock offers no calendar, temperature readout or multiple alarm settings for complex scheduling.
