Questions about this item

Should I pick the 4-slot or 7-slot rear panel for my build?

Choose the 4-slot rear panel if you need a PS2 power supply and a Micro-ATX board up to 9.6 x 9.6 inches; choose the 7-slot rear panel for a standard 1U power supply and full ATX boards up to 12 x 9.6 inches.

What does the 2U height mean for rack density?

At 88 mm tall the chassis occupies exactly 2U of rack space, letting you stack multiple units in a standard 19-inch cabinet while leaving room for 4 x 3.5-inch drives and front 80 mm fans.

How does the USB 2.0 front header limit peripheral speed?

The two front USB 2.0 ports operate at the 2.0 specification, so any connected device will negotiate at that rate rather than a faster standard.
