Shenzhen Junxiangcheng Technology Co.,
A 2U rackmount chassis holding eight hot-swap 3.5-inch SAS or SATA drives with a 12Gb/s backplane for E-ATX boards
This 2U rackmount chassis fits a standard 19" rack and holds up to eight 3.5" hot-swap drives. It accepts E-ATX motherboards up to 12" x 13" and provides seven full-height PCI/PCIe expansion slots. The 1.0mm SGCC zinc-coated steel construction meets EMC design standards.
The 12Gb/s Mini SAS backplane replaces older 6Gb/s SATA or SAS backplanes and adds a temperature control chipset. The jump is worthwhile when moving from 6Gb/s drives to 12Gb/s SAS drives or when the existing backplane lacks thermal monitoring. The chassis also supports 6Gb/s SATA and SAS drives for mixed deployments.
The backplane delivers 12Gb/s per lane to each drive bay, so aggregate throughput depends on the number of active drives and the host controller. Cable length inside the 650mm depth is short, but external Mini SAS cables to a RAID card or HBA must stay within SAS specification limits. The front panel offers two USB 2.0 ports with optional USB 3.0.

It fits a standard 19-inch rack and occupies 650 mm depth; allow extra space at the rear for cable routing and at the front for hot-swap drive tray access.
Route the MINI SAS cables from the backplane to the RAID controller or HBA, then seat each of the eight 3.5-inch drive trays until the latch clicks; the step often missed is verifying the backplane temperature-control chipset LED shows normal before closing the lid.
The three 8025 AVC ball-bearing fans are the primary wear items; the 6Gb/s SATA and 12Gb/s SAS backplanes and the optional slim CD-ROM bay have no user-serviceable parts.
