EBL-802 charger for AA AAA and 9V cells

The EBL-802 charges two or four AA or AAA Ni-MH and Ni-Cd batteries at once, and also handles one or two 9V Ni-MH or Ni-Cd cells. An MCU controls the process with negative delta V pulse charging to stop over-charge, over-discharge, over-current and over-heat. It accepts 100 to 240 V AC input for worldwide use. Batteries are not included.

Capacity and headroom

AA and AAA slots deliver 2.4 V at 600 to 670 mA, while 9V channels taper from 250 mA at 6 to 7 V down to 30 mA at 9.6 V. Saturation charging rate exceeds 80 percent, so cells reach usable capacity quickly. The charger cannot revive absolute 0 V batteries and must not be used with alkaline or carbon types.

MCU controlled negative delta V pulse charging

The microcontroller-driven negative delta V pulse method actively prevents over-charge, over-discharge, over-current and over-heat during every cycle.
