Internal slot relocation

This SD-card extension cable brings an internal SD or SDHC slot out to an accessible position using a 25 cm soft flat FPC ribbon. It is aimed at technicians, modders and embedded-system builders who need front-panel or external card access without rewiring the host device. The male-to-female layout preserves the standard pin-out so the host controller sees no electrical difference.

Not for direct USB or high-speed UHS use

The cable simply routes the native SD interface; it does not convert the slot to USB and cannot add UHS-I or UHS-II signalling that the host does not already provide. Users who need a USB card reader, longer reach than 25 cm, or support for proprietary card formats should consider a different solution. The memory card itself is not included in the kit.
