SKU CH-S6CT-X6FYY MPN CS-APP-iP5-RD

Red snap-on case for iPhone 5 with 0.8mm slim profile and included screen protector film

  • Slim .8mm profile keeps the iPhone 5 pocket-friendly
  • Impact-resistant polycarbonate shields back and sides from drops
  • Precise cut-outs give instant access to every port
  • Included screen film and cloth protect the display
  • Snap-on design fits in seconds with no tools

Tailored fit for iPhone 5

This red snap-on case is made for the iPhone 5 and covers the full back and sides. It suits owners who want a barely-there layer that guards against daily scratches and minor drops. Buyers needing heavy-duty drop protection or a built-in stand should look elsewhere.

Slim profile limits impact absorption

At .8mm thick, the polycarbonate shell adds almost no bulk and keeps all ports reachable through precise cut-outs. The thin wall cannot absorb hard shocks the way a rugged case would, so it is not meant for rough environments or frequent drops onto concrete.

Snap-on in seconds, film needs care

The case snaps on without tools or adhesives, while the included screen film and cleaning cloth let you protect the display. Applying the film without bubbles is the only tricky step; dust trapped under the film is the most common issue.

Questions about this item

Is the 0.8 mm thickness the only profile option for this iPhone 5 case?

Yes, the Shield iShell Classic S3 case is offered in a single 0.8 mm slim profile for the iPhone 5.

How much bulk does the 0.8 mm case add when fitted to the phone?

The case adds less than one millimetre to the iPhone 5, keeping the device almost as thin as it is without a cover.

Does the snap-on design use a specific fastening standard or proprietary clips?

The case simply snaps onto the iPhone 5 using moulded polycarbonate clips; no proprietary fastening system is involved.
