Product identity

Shieldmark Mighty Line floor marking tape is a continuous vinyl roll supplied in white for industrial aisle and hazard demarcation. The tape measures two inches wide by one hundred feet long with a fifty-mil thickness and carries no printed legend or glow-in-the-dark properties.

Intended use and limits

Facilities managers and safety officers use this non-reflective tape to mark walkways, storage zones and emergency egress paths where permanent paint is impractical. Buyers needing retroreflective visibility, photoluminescent guidance or pre-printed symbols should select a different product.

Durability under traffic

The fifty-mil vinyl construction resists abrasion from forklift wheels, pallet jacks and heavy foot traffic without tearing or lifting at the edges. Adhesive bond remains stable through daily cleaning cycles and temperature swings common in warehouse environments.

Questions about this item

What surface preparation is required before applying the 2 in wide vinyl tape?

Clean the floor so it is dry, free of dust, oil and loose paint; the 50 mil vinyl with adhesive backing bonds directly to concrete, epoxy or sealed wood without primer.

Will the non-reflective white tape remain visible next to older photoluminescent exit strips?

Yes, the solid white colour provides constant contrast in normal light, while the older photoluminescent strips only glow after charge; they complement rather than compete.

How can I confirm the 100 ft roll covers the intended aisle length after installation?

Measure the laid tape against the 100 ft roll length marked on the core; a continuous run matching that distance shows the full roll was applied without gaps.
