SHiLiPAi HF-YM-M45 600 Lumen COB Penlight

The SHiLiPAi HF-YM-M45 is a compact rechargeable penlight built for everyday carry, inspection work and emergency use. Its COB LED delivers up to 600 lumens in a wide beam suited to close-range tasks. A magnetic clip allows vertical or horizontal attachment to metal surfaces for hands-free operation. The light measures 13.6 cm and weighs 2.3 oz, fitting easily in a pocket or tool bag.

Sustained output and thermal behaviour

To protect the LED and internal components the flashlight automatically reduces brightness during extended high-output use. This thermal management helps maintain product lifespan while preventing overheating. The built-in 1000 mAh battery supports up to 6 hours of runtime depending on the selected mode. A USB-C port and power indicator let you monitor charge level and avoid unexpected shutdowns.

Practical limits of the USB-C rechargeable interface

The USB-C charging input requires a compatible cable and power source; no wireless or proprietary dock is supported. Battery performance declines if the unit is stored fully drained for long periods, so regular top-ups are advised. The magnetic clip holds the light on ferrous surfaces but cannot mount to non-magnetic materials. Water resistance is rated for splashes and rain, not submersion.

Questions about this item

Does the 600-lumen COB LED get hot or drain the 1000 mAh battery quickly during all-day use?

The light automatically reduces brightness during extended high-output use to manage heat and protect the LED, which also conserves the built-in 1000 mAh battery for longer runtime.

What must I already own to charge the USB-C port on this penlight?

You need a standard USB-C charging cable and a compatible USB power source such as a wall adapter, power bank or computer port to recharge the internal battery.

Will the magnetic clip hold this 13.6 cm light securely on the steel frame of my older toolbox?

Yes, the dual magnetic clip is designed for vertical or horizontal attachment to metal surfaces like toolboxes, vehicles or work areas for hands-free lighting.
