GSM Antenna GA2/GA1 with SMA Male Connector

This pack contains two omnidirectional antennas designed to improve GSM, CDMA and WCDMA signal strength and stability. Each unit provides 2.5 dBi gain across the 850-2100/2400 MHz frequency range with vertical polarisation. The L-Type SMA Male connector fits devices equipped with an SMA Female port.

Users needing a direct SMA Male fit

Suitable for modems, routers, access points and terminals that present an SMA Female connector. Not suitable for equipment that uses an RP-SMA Female connector, as the two interfaces are mechanically incompatible. Buyers who require a different connector type or higher gain should look at other antenna models.

Connector compatibility decides fit

The antenna terminates in an SMA Male plug that only mates with an SMA Female jack. Verify the port on your device before purchase; an RP-SMA Female socket will not accept this connector.

Questions about this item

What frequency bands does the 850-2100/2400 MHz SMA antenna cover?

The antenna operates across 850 MHz to 2100 MHz and 2400 MHz bands with a 20 MHz bandwidth, supporting GSM, CDMA and WCDMA networks.

What connector type does the L-Type SMA Male antenna require on the device?

It requires an SMA Female connector on your modem or router; it is not compatible with RP-SMA Female connectors.

How do you install the 50.8 mm omnidirectional antenna correctly?

Screw the SMA Male connector firmly into the device's SMA Female port by hand until snug; the common mistake is cross-threading or using RP-SMA ports.
