Steelbook packaging

The Carrie Steelbook from Shout Factory is a physical media release presented in a collectible metal case. It contains the feature film on both DVD and Blu-ray formats for standard-definition and high-definition playback. This edition suits collectors who value durable packaging and film enthusiasts who prefer owning a tangible copy.

Disc-based playback

The product requires a compatible DVD or Blu-ray player connected to a display for viewing. Operation is silent and draws no power beyond the playback device itself. There are no cooling requirements, fan noise, or thermal considerations associated with the media discs or the steelbook case.

Dual-format convenience

The inclusion of both DVD and Blu-ray discs allows the film to be watched on a wider range of hardware, from legacy DVD players to modern Blu-ray drives. The steelbook case replaces a standard plastic keep case, providing rigid protection for the discs against bending or cracking during storage. No digital codes, streaming access, or bonus software are included with this release.

Questions about this item

How do I play the Carrie Steelbook on my home player?

Insert the disc into any standard Blu-ray or DVD player and select the title from the on-screen menu; the step people miss is ensuring the player’s region code matches the disc.

What care will the steelbook case need over time?

Wipe the metal sleeve with a soft, dry cloth to remove fingerprints and store it upright in a cool, dry place to prevent hinge stress or surface scratches.

What limits how long I can watch the film in one sitting?

The runtime of the feature itself is the only hard stop; the disc contains no DRM time-limits or mandatory intermissions.
