Castle in the Sky Blu-ray DVD Combo

This Shout Factory keepsake presents Hayao Miyazaki's Academy Award-winning animated feature in a dual-format package. The set includes both Blu-ray and DVD discs so the film can be played on current and legacy players alike. English-language voice talent features Anna Paquin, James Van Der Beek, Cloris Leachman and Mark Hamill. It arrives new in factory-sealed packaging.

Collectors and families wanting a physical copy

Buyers who only stream films or who need 4K UHD resolution will not be served by this standard-definition Blu-ray and DVD combination. The release targets viewers who value a tangible keepsake edition of a Studio Ghibli classic. Digital-only households should look elsewhere.

Dual-format Blu-ray and DVD disc set

The single specification that decides suitability is the inclusion of both a Blu-ray disc and a DVD disc in one package. This ensures playback on virtually any disc player manufactured in the last two decades. No 4K UHD disc is included, so owners of 4K-only drives should verify compatibility before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Does the keepsake set include both the Blu-ray and DVD discs, or do I need to buy one format separately?

It indicates the set is packaged as a collectible memory item, containing the feature film on both Blu-ray and DVD formats along with the standard case and cover art.
