Disc-based playback reliability

Physical media removes dependence on streaming licences or internet bandwidth, so picture and sound stay consistent. There is no buffering, no adaptive bitrate drops and no risk of the title leaving a catalogue. The discs play on standard DVD and Blu-ray players with minimal power draw and silent operation.
