A slim, fanless barebone with an Intel Core i3-1315U processor and 64 GB of DDR5-5200 memory, offering 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet and multiple M.2 slots for storage
The Shuttle DS50U3 is a slim barebone PC built around an Intel Core i3-1315U dual-core processor running at 1.20 GHz. It arrives with 64 GB of DDR5-5200 memory already installed. The fanless chassis keeps operation silent while drawing up to 90 W. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics drives one HDMI and one DisplayPort output for dual-display setups.
This unit fits digital-signage players, thin-client terminals and light office deployments where silence and a small footprint matter. The single-thread performance and dual-core design limit its usefulness for heavy multitasking, video editing or any workload that demands more than two cores. Buyers who need user-replaceable graphics, additional PCIe slots or higher core counts should look at a different platform.
The board provides three M.2 interfaces and a single SATA 600 connector for NVMe or SATA storage expansion. Four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports handle peripherals, while dual 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet links connect to managed networks. The 90 W power adapter is included, so the build only needs storage drives and an operating system to become operational.

You need to install at least one M.2 NVMe or SATA drive, plus an optional 2.5-inch SATA drive, because the barebone ships without any storage.
Yes, the 2.5 GbE port auto-negotiates down to 1 GbE, so existing Cat5e or Cat6 cabling and switches work without changes.
Open Task Manager or UEFI and verify the memory frequency reads 5200 MT/s (PC5-41600) with 64 GB total capacity detected.
