Lateral Contact Block 1NC 1NO

This SIEMENS lateral contact block adds one normally closed and one normally open auxiliary contact to a motor starter protector. It is designed for industrial control panels that need extra signalling or interlocking functions. Electricians and panel builders use it to expand the monitoring capability of their starters.

Compatible with SIRIUS 3RV2 Series

The decisive specification is compatibility with the SIRIUS 3RV2 motor starter protector series. The block mounts directly onto the side of these protectors to provide the auxiliary contacts. It will not fit other starter families or contactor ranges.

Side Mount Installation

The block snaps onto the lateral face of the 3RV2 protector without tools, adding 4.5 inches to the overall width and depth. Ensure the starter series matches exactly; forcing the block onto an incompatible model damages the mounting clips and leaves the auxiliary circuit open.
