Ultra-wide zoom for full-frame mirrorless

The Sigma 14-24mm F2.8 DG DN Art lens covers an ultra-wide focal range with a constant F2.8 aperture. It is built for full-frame mirrorless cameras using the Leica L mount. The optical design targets edge-to-edge resolution suited to demanding landscape and architectural work.

Astrophotographers and wide-field shooters

This lens suits photographers who need a bright, wide-angle zoom for starry skies, interiors or expansive vistas. The constant aperture helps in low light. Shooters requiring telephoto reach, macro capability or a lighter variable-aperture alternative should consider other options.

Constant F2.8 aperture at 14-24mm

The fixed maximum aperture of F2.8 across the entire 14-24mm zoom range determines low-light performance and depth-of-field control. If your work demands that specific combination of ultra-wide coverage and constant brightness, this lens matches the requirement.

Questions about this item

Does the lens mount need periodic resealing to stay dust- and splash-proof?

The mount features special sealing designed to maintain protection without user maintenance.

What optical limit appears first when shooting wide open at 14 mm for long star-trail sessions?

Coma and astigmatism are corrected to the frame edge, so resolution remains uniform even at F2.8.

How much heat builds up in the barrel during all-day time-lapse shooting?

The compact mirrorless-optimised design dissipates heat passively; no active cooling is required.
