Ultra-wide zoom for full-frame and APS-C

This SIGMA Art zoom covers 14 to 24 millimetres with a constant F2.8 aperture across the range. It is built for Canon full-frame bodies and also works on APS-C models. The optical design targets near-zero distortion at infinity focus for architectural and landscape work.

Consistent aperture and weather sealing under

The fixed F2.8 aperture remains bright from wide to long end without ramping during extended shooting sessions. Dust- and splash-proof construction with weather sealing protects the mechanism when the lens is used continuously in adverse conditions. Fast autofocus with full-time manual override stays responsive during long periods of operation.

Canon EF mount limits and correction compatibility

The rugged brass bayonet fits Canon EF-mount cameras and communicates with in-body Lens Aberration Correction for automatic vignetting and distortion adjustment. The rounded diaphragm shape is maintained throughout the zoom range. Buyers who need a wider field of view than 14 millimetres or a mount other than Canon EF will need a different solution.

Questions about this item

Does the constant F2.8 aperture generate noticeable heat or extra power draw during all-day shooting?

The lens maintains a fixed F2.8 aperture from 14mm to 24mm without any internal motor that would add heat or battery drain beyond normal AF operation.

Which Canon bodies can I mount this EF-mount zoom on without an adapter?

It fits every Canon EOS body with an EF or EF-S mount, covering full-frame and APS-C sensors alike.

Will the brass bayonet and weather seals hold up on an older EOS-1D series body I still use?

The rugged brass mount and dust- and splash-proof construction match the sealing standards of professional Canon bodies, so the lens stays protected on legacy pro models.
