Sigma 16mm f/1.4 APS-C Lens

This Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary lens is built for APS-C Nikon Z-mount mirrorless cameras. It delivers a 24mm equivalent field of view suited to landscape, architecture, street and vlogging work. The ultra-fast f/1.4 aperture provides strong low-light capability and smooth background blur for creative depth control.

Mounts directly to Z-mount bodies

The lens attaches natively to Nikon Z APS-C bodies without adapters, so installation is a simple bayonet twist. The stepping autofocus motor operates quietly for video, while the compact, weather-sealed barrel with brass mount withstands daily use. Buyers needing full-frame coverage or a longer focal length should choose a different optic.

16mm f/1.4 on APS-C Z-mount

The decisive specification is the 16mm focal length paired with a maximum f/1.4 aperture on the Nikon Z APS-C format. This combination fixes the angle of view at a 24mm equivalent and sets the low-light and shallow-depth potential. If that focal length or aperture does not match the intended shooting style, the lens will not fit the need.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN is performing correctly after mounting it on my Nikon Z camera?

Check that autofocus locks quickly and silently using the stepping motor, review test shots at f/1.4 for edge-to-edge sharpness and minimal chromatic aberration, and confirm the 24mm equivalent field of view matches the expected wide-angle perspective.

Which accessories are included in the bundle and what must I purchase separately?

The bundle supplies the lens, a backpack, filter kit, lens cap keeper, cleaning solution, cleaning cloth, tabletop tripod, air blower and cleaning brush; you will still need a compatible APS-C Nikon Z-mount camera body and any additional filters or storage media you prefer.

How do I decide between the available versions or capacities of this lens?

This model is offered in a single 16mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary variant for Nikon Z mount; there are no alternative focal lengths, apertures or capacity options to choose from.
