Standard zoom for Nikon DSLR

The Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 EX DC OS HSM FLD is a large-aperture standard zoom lens built for Nikon digital DSLR cameras. It uses FLD glass with performance equal to fluorite across 17 elements in 13 groups. The kit includes a carrying case, lens hood, and front and rear caps. It suits photographers who want a bright constant aperture throughout the zoom range.

Sustained handling with OS stabilization

Optical Stabilization helps keep images steady during extended handheld sessions at the 28 cm minimum focusing distance. The constant f/2.8 aperture maintains exposure consistency when zooming from 17 to 50 mm under continuous shooting conditions. Maximum magnification reaches 1:5 for close-up work without losing brightness. The lens is not for buyers who need OS in Pentax or Sony mounts, nor for users requiring focal lengths beyond 50 mm.
