Art-Series Zoom for DX Nikon F

The Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art lens is built for DX-format Nikon F-mount cameras. It covers a wide-to-normal range with a 27-52.5mm equivalent focal length. The constant f/1.8 aperture suits low-light shooting and depth-of-field control. This bundle adds a case, hood, caps, filter kit, cleaning kit, cap keeper and pouch.

Constant f/1.8 Through the Range

The bright f/1.8 maximum aperture holds from 18mm to 35mm, giving consistent exposure across the zoom. Five SLD and four aspherical elements reduce chromatic aberration and distortion. Super Multi-Layer Coating suppresses flare and ghosting for contrast and colour accuracy. The design favours wide and normal perspectives; it does not reach telephoto lengths.

Internal Focus with Hyper Sonic Motor

Advanced HSM and internal focusing deliver fast, quiet autofocus with full-time manual override. The barrel does not extend during focus, helping balance and filter use. Optical construction targets high clarity and sharpness throughout the aperture range. No specifications for power draw, thermals or noise are published for this lens.

Questions about this item

Will the 18-35mm f/1.8 Art lens autofocus correctly on my older Nikon DX body?

Yes, the Hyper Sonic Motor and internal focusing work with any Nikon F-mount DSLR, so autofocus will be fast and quiet on your existing DX camera.

How can I confirm the constant f/1.8 aperture is functioning after I mount the lens?

Set the camera to aperture priority, select f/1.8, then zoom from 18 mm to 35 mm; the exposure value should stay the same across the range.

Does the bundle include filters and a cleaning kit, or do I need to buy them separately?

The bundle already supplies a 3-piece filter kit, full cleaning kit, lens pouch, cap keeper, hood, case and both caps — nothing extra is required.
