Versatile X-Mount Standard Zoom

This Sigma 18-50mm f/2.8 DC DN Contemporary lens is built for FUJIFILM X-mount APS-C mirrorless cameras. It covers a 27-75mm full-frame equivalent range with a constant f/2.8 aperture, making it suitable for landscapes, portraits, street photography, architecture and events. The kit includes a 55mm UV filter, tulip hood, blower, cleaning pen, microfiber cloth and starter cleaning kit. Photographers needing a longer telephoto reach or a full-frame image circle should consider other options.

Simple Attachment and Care

The lens mounts directly onto any FUJIFILM X-mount body without adapters. Its stepping motor delivers fast, quiet autofocus useful for video and moving subjects. The included 55mm filter and hood thread onto the front barrel using the standard 55mm size. Dust- and splash-proof construction helps protect internal elements during outdoor use. Cleaning accessories allow safe removal of dust and smudges from glass surfaces.

Constant f/2.8 Aperture Throughout Zoom

The defining specification is the bright f/2.8 maximum aperture maintained from 18mm to 50mm. This enables consistent exposure and shallow depth of field across the entire zoom range. Minimum focusing distance is 4.8 inches for close-up work. Optical design uses three aspherical elements and one special low dispersion element with a rounded 7-blade diaphragm. Buyers requiring variable aperture zooms or wider maximum apertures must look elsewhere.
