Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN II Art Lens

This bundle centres on a new Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN II Art lens built for Sony E-mount cameras. It suits photographers who need a bright, constant-aperture zoom for events, portraits and everyday reportage. The optical design uses 19 elements in 15 groups, including 6 FLD, 2 SLD and 5 aspherical elements. A High-response Linear Actuator drives fast, precise autofocus and an aperture ring is fitted.

Constant f/2.8 aperture across 24-70mm

The constant f/2.8 maximum aperture holds through the full 24-70mm range, giving reliable exposure when zooming and shallow depth of field for subject separation. Close-focusing capability lets you capture finer details at short distances. The 19-element formula controls distortion and aberrations across the frame. At the longest focal lengths or in very low light, the fixed aperture eventually limits shutter-speed flexibility.

Flashpoint Zoom-Mini R2 TTL Thinklite Flash

A Flashpoint Zoom-Mini R2 TTL Thinklite flash adds on-camera TTL lighting for fill or bounce work in dim conditions. The included lens cleaner helps maintain front-element clarity between shoots. No additional adapters, pouches or software licences are mentioned in the bundle contents.

Questions about this item

Will the 24-70mm f/2.8 DG DN II Art lens mount directly on my older Sony E-mount body without an adapter?

Yes, it is designed specifically for Sony E-mount cameras and integrates fully with no adapter required.

How can I verify the High-response Linear Actuator autofocus is performing correctly after I attach the lens?

Half-press the shutter; the lens should acquire focus swiftly and silently across the 24-70mm range, and the aperture ring clicks at each stop when turned.

Does the bundle include a protective filter or hood, or do I need to purchase them separately?

The bundle supplies the lens, a Flashpoint Zoom-Mini R2 TTL Thinklite flash and a lens cleaner; filters and hoods are not included and must be bought separately.
