SIGMA 24mm f/3.5 DG DN Contemporary Sony E + Filter Kit

Ultra-wide 24mm for Sony E-mount

The Sigma 24mm f/3.5 DG DN Contemporary is a full-frame ultra-wide prime lens designed for Sony E-mount cameras. Its compact and lightweight construction makes it well-suited for travel, hiking, street and reportage photography. The lens features a stepping motor AF system for smooth, quiet autofocus performance. A 1:2 maximum magnification ratio and 4.25-inch minimum focusing distance allow detailed close-up work.

Aperture range f/3.5 to f/22

The lens offers an aperture range from f/3.5 to f/22, providing control over depth of field and exposure across varied lighting conditions. The maximum aperture of f/3.5 is modest compared to faster ultra-wide primes, which limits low-light capability and shallow depth-of-field effects. Optical construction includes one SLD element and three aspherical elements to suppress aberrations and distortion. A Super Multi-Layer Coating reduces ghosting and flare for improved contrast and colour fidelity.

55mm filter kit included

The bundle supplies a 55mm filter thread with a three-piece multi-coated HD filter kit covering UV, circular polariser and fluorescent light duties. A tulip lens hood, lens pouch, blower, cleaning pen, microfiber cloth, starter cleaning kit and lens cap keeper complete the accessory set. The dust- and splash-resistant construction adds durability for outdoor use. Buyers needing a faster maximum aperture or zoom flexibility will require a different lens.
