Everyday 45mm prime for L-Mount

The Sigma 45mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary is a compact full-frame lens built for Leica and Panasonic mirrorless bodies. Its DG designation confirms optimisation for large sensors while DN marks the short flange design. A stepping motor delivers fast, quiet autofocus suited to both stills and video work.

Upgrade from kit zooms or older primes

Photographers moving up from variable-aperture zooms gain a constant f/2.8 aperture and shallower depth of field. The jump is worth it when low-light flexibility and subject separation matter more than zoom reach. Build quality and tactile controls also step up noticeably from entry-level glass.

55mm filter thread and included accessories

The 55mm front thread accepts the bundled ProOptic filter without vignetting. Supplied pouch, cleaner, cloth and flex shade cover daily protection and maintenance. The kit leaves no obvious gap for general-purpose shooting, though specialists needing wider angles or longer reach will need additional lenses.
