This 72mm close-up lens is an optional accessory developed exclusively for the Sigma 18-300mm F3.5-6.3 DC OS HSM Contemporary lens. It enables zoom-macro photography by providing a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2. Photographers can capture close-up images of subjects such as jewellery and flowers by simply rotating the zoom ring.

Check 72mm filter thread compatibility

Before ordering, verify that your lens has a 72mm filter thread diameter. This close-up lens attaches directly to the front filter threads of the specific 18-300mm Contemporary model. It is not compatible with other lenses or filter sizes. Confirm your exact lens model matches the designated optic.

Attaches to front thread for 1:2 macro performance

The filter mounts on the 72mm front thread and works across the 80-300mm zoom range with focus set to infinity. It delivers a working distance of 14cm at maximum magnification while maintaining consistent rendering. The minimum focusing distance of the host lens is 39cm at 1:3 magnification without the accessory.
