What It Is

The SIGMA F30S25 is a 52mm macro flash adapter ring designed for camera systems. It allows photographers to mount compatible macro flash units onto lenses with a 52mm filter thread for close-up illumination.

Who It Suits

This adapter suits photographers who own a lens with a 52mm filter thread and want to use a SIGMA macro flash. It will not work for lenses with different thread sizes or for flash systems that use a different mounting standard.

Installation Notes

The ring threads onto the front of the lens like a standard filter. Ensure the threads are clean and aligned to avoid cross-threading. The main issue occurs when users force the ring onto a mismatched thread size or overtighten it, making removal difficult.

Questions about this item

What thread size must the lens already have for this 52mm adapter ring to attach?

The ring mounts on any lens with a 52mm front filter thread, which is the only size it accepts.

Will the F30S25 ring work with a flash unit that uses a different mounting standard?

The adapter provides a standard Sigma flash mount, so older Sigma macro flashes that share this mount will fit directly.

How can I confirm the ring is seated correctly after I screw it onto the lens?

The ring should turn smoothly until it stops flush against the lens barrel with no visible gap or wobble.
