SIGMA Push-On Petal Lens Hood for 10-18mm f/2.8 DC DN Contemporary

Precision fit for 10-18mm f/2.8 DC DN Contemporary

The petal-type hood is engineered specifically for the Sigma 10-18mm f/2.8 DC DN Contemporary lens. Its contour matches the zoom's angle of view to block stray light without intruding into the frame. Photographers who need flare control on this ultra-wide optic gain a dedicated accessory that preserves corner performance.

Consistent flare suppression across the zoom range

The petal geometry maintains its effectiveness from 10mm through 18mm, preventing ghosting and contrast loss as the focal length changes. Because the hood stays fixed relative to the front element, shading performance does not degrade when zooming. Shooters working in strong directional light can rely on steady protection throughout every composition.

Spring-and-lever attachment stays secure without

A spring-loaded lever mechanism locks the hood onto the lens barrel with a simple push, eliminating threaded collars or reversible mounting. The low-profile design adds minimal length and weight, keeping the combination balanced for handheld use. The hood shields the front glass from impacts and fingerprints while remaining unobtrusive in the bag.
