Wireless HDMI Kit for 165 ft Range

This wireless HDMI extender kit transmits 1080p video up to 165 feet without cables. It includes a transmitter and receiver, each with one HDMI port, plus IR extension cables for remote control passthrough. The units are wall-mountable and come with power adapters for both ends.

Suits Single-Source Setups Needing Cable-Free Reach

Installers running a single HDMI source to one display across a room or through walls will find the 165-foot range practical. It does not support multiple inputs or outputs, so matrices or multi-room distributions need a different solution. Buyers needing 4K resolution or HDR pass-through should look elsewhere.

Maximum Video Resolution 1920 x 1080

The link tops out at Full HD 1920 x 1080, which decides whether the kit matches the source and display capabilities. If the installation requires higher resolutions, this extender will not pass them. The single HDMI input and output on each unit also fixes the topology to one-to-one.

Questions about this item

What does the 165 ft wireless range mean for my room layout?

The transmitter and receiver can be placed up to 165 ft apart, letting you send 1080p video from a source device to a display in another room or across a large hall without running cables.

What does the single HDMI input and output cap at 1080p resolution?

The kit accepts one HDMI source up to 1920 x 1080 and delivers the same resolution to one display; higher resolutions or multiple sources are not supported.

How much space do I need to wall-mount the transmitter unit?

The transmitter measures 7.69 in wide, 5.41 in deep and 1.21 in high, weighing about 2.33 lb, so allow a flat area at least that large on the wall.
