4K 60Hz HDMI Extender with Loopout

The SIIG CE-H27D11-S1 extends HDMI signals from sources such as DVD players, game consoles or computers up to 230ft over Cat6 or Cat7 cable. It supports video resolution up to 3840x2160 at 60Hz and passes PCM 7.1, DTS-HD and Dolby Digital 5.1ch audio. A local HDMI loop output on the transmitter allows a display at the source location.

Cat6/7 distance limit for 4K 60Hz

The extender reaches its full 230ft range only when using Cat6 or Cat7 cabling; lesser cable categories will reduce the maximum distance for 4K 60Hz transmission. Both transmitter and receiver require the included 5V/1A power adapters connected to AC 100-240V mains. IR control signals travel over the same link via 3.5mm blaster and receiver ports.

230ft 4K 60Hz over Cat6/7 decides fit

If the installation requires 4K 60Hz video beyond 230ft, this unit cannot meet that need. It is not suited for runs that exceed the specified Cat6/7 distance or for applications demanding higher refresh rates at 4K resolution. The fixed 5V/1A power input also means it cannot be powered solely from the HDMI source.
