Desk mat for keyboard and mouse

The SIIG CE-PD0412-S1 is an extended 2XL desk mat measuring 22.00 by 36.00 inches with a 3mm thickness. Its PVC surface creates a smooth, consistent glide for both keyboard typing and mouse tracking. The rectangular black design covers a wide area to protect the desktop from scratches and spills.

Practical limits of the PVC surface

The 0.12 inch profile keeps the mat low so it does not interfere with monitor stands or wrist rests. PVC resists liquid spills and wipes clean, but it can show creases if folded tightly during storage. The material does not add cushioning beyond the stated 3mm, so users who prefer a softer feel may find it firm.

The specification that decides fit

The 22 by 36 inch footprint is the single figure that determines whether this mat suits your workspace. Measure the clear desk space before ordering; a smaller surface will leave the mat overhanging the edge while a larger desk will leave exposed areas.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 22" x 36" extended 2XL size or a smaller mat?

The 22" x 36" extended 2XL covers both keyboard and mouse in one piece, while smaller mats only fit the mouse.

How does the 3mm thickness feel during daily typing and mouse work?

At 3mm the mat gives a firm but cushioned surface that keeps wrists level without sinking too far.

What does the PVC surface mean for glide and durability?

The smooth PVC top lets the mouse feet slide consistently and resists wear from repeated keyboard use.
