Connects an M.2 NVMe SSD via USB 3.1 Type-C or Type-A for portable storage
The SIIG JU-SA0W11-S1 enclosure turns an M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD into an external drive through a USB 3.1 Type-C connection. It suits users who want fast, portable storage without installing a drive inside a desktop or laptop chassis.
An included thermal silicon pad contacts the SSD to spread heat across the aluminium body. The enclosure draws power from the host USB port and has no fan, so operation stays silent during typical file transfers and backups.
A screw kit and screwdriver secure the drive internally while both a Type-C to Type-C and a Type-C to Type-A cable are supplied for broad host compatibility. The shallow 0.4 inch profile and 1.44 ounce weight make it easy to carry in a laptop bag or pocket.

Slide the SSD into the M.2 slot at a slight angle, press it flat, then secure it with the supplied screw and nut; the included screwdriver fits the tiny head.
The thermal silicon pad that sits between the SSD and the aluminium shell can lose contact over time; peel off the old pad and stick on a fresh one of the same thickness.
The USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C link maxes out at its rated bandwidth, so sustained reads or writes from a fast NVMe SSD will plateau at that interface limit.
