Silicone Dish Drying Mat 17 x 15 Black

SKU CH-BY20-59XSQ

A large 17 x 15 inch silicone mat dries dishes quickly on raised ridges and doubles as a 450 °F trivet

  • Holds pots and pans on a 17 x 15 inch surface
  • Wide raised ridges let water evaporate for faster drying
  • Heat resistant up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit for trivet use
  • Soft silicone rolls and folds to fit tight storage spaces
  • Durable silicone wipes clean with warm water and soap

Extra-Large Silicone Drying Mat

This 17 x 15 inch black silicone mat provides a single spacious surface for pots, pans and utensils, removing the need for several smaller mats. It suits home cooks who want a flexible, easy-to-store solution that protects countertops and sinks alike. The soft material rolls or folds into tight drawers, campers or RV cabinets.

Fast Drainage and Heat Resistance

Wide raised ridges lift dishes so air circulates underneath, letting water evaporate quickly instead of pooling. The same mat doubles as a trivet rated to 450 degrees F, so hot cookware can move straight from hob to counter without damage.

Low-Maintenance Surface

Silicone repels stains and wipes clean with a damp cloth; the supplier recommends hand washing with warm water and soap for routine care. No fabric layers mean no lingering dampness or odour, and the mat stays pliable through repeated folding and daily kitchen use.

Questions about this item

Does the silicone stay cool enough to touch after a 450 °F pan is set on it?

The mat is rated to withstand 450 °F, so it protects the surface underneath; the silicone itself will become very hot and should not be handled until it cools.

What flat surface do I need to place this 17 by 15 inch mat on?

Any clean, level countertop, sink rim, fridge shelf or drawer bottom works — the flexible silicone conforms to the surface without extra hardware.

Will a heavy cast-iron skillet dent or permanently crease the 15 inch wide mat?

The soft silicone flexes under weight and returns to shape once the skillet is removed; rolling or folding for storage does not leave permanent creases.
