Universal Fit for 6 to 8 Quart Slow Cookers

This silicone lid lock strap is designed to fit most standard oval and round slow cookers with capacities of six, seven or eight quarts. The adjustable multi-hole design provides a secure grip on pot lids during cooking or transport. It is intended for home cooks who regularly move filled slow cookers between kitchen, car and serving table. The black strap is made from food-grade silicone and is dishwasher safe.

Heat-Resistant Food-Grade Silicone Material

The strap is constructed from premium food-grade silicone that withstands high cooking temperatures without tearing, melting or deforming. It replaces disposable rubber bands and plastic wrap with a reusable alternative that resists scratches and abrasions. The material retains elasticity over years of use and can be cleaned in a dishwasher after each use.

Suits Cooks Who Transport Filled Slow Cookers

This accessory suits anyone who needs to lock a slow cooker lid in place while carrying hot soups, stews or liquid-heavy dishes. It is not for users who only cook at home and never move the appliance, or for those with slow cookers outside the six to eight quart range. Buyers needing a locking mechanism for pressure cookers or other appliance types should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How does the adjustable multi-hole design work on a 6-quart oval slow cooker?

The strap stretches around the lid and handles; you choose the hole that gives a snug fit, so the same strap locks lids on 6, 7 and 8-quart oval or round pots.

Is the silicone rated for direct contact with a hot glass lid straight from the cooker?

Yes — the food-grade silicone withstands cooking temperatures without melting or deforming, so it stays on the lid during the entire cook cycle.

What clearance does the strap need between the lid handle and the pot rim to fasten securely?

The strap wraps over the lid handle and under the side handles; it only requires the standard handle height found on most 6-to-8-quart Crockpot models.
