10 inch Grey Silicone Mat

This 10 inch grey silicone mat is a kitchen accessory designed for microwave use and surface protection. It suits home cooks who need a flexible, heat-resistant layer for hot cookware or a non-slip cover for bowls and plates. The honeycomb-patterned surface adds grip while the raised edges help contain spills. It is supplied as a single piece in new condition.

Sustained Heat and Cold Performance

The mat withstands a continuous temperature range from -40 to 230°C, so it remains stable during extended microwave heating or long periods in the freezer. Silicone does not degrade or lose flexibility across this span, keeping its non-slip properties intact. It protects countertops from prolonged contact with hot pots without warping. The material stays pliable after repeated thermal cycles.

Diameter and Microwave Turntable Fit

The mat measures 9.8 inches in diameter, which matches many standard glass turntables but may not cover larger trays completely. Its size limits use to containers that sit within this footprint. Overhanging dishes can reduce the non-slip benefit and leave edges exposed to heat. Buyers needing full coverage for wider turntables or oversized bakeware should check their appliance dimensions first.

Questions about this item

Will the 10 inch mat stay cool to the touch after a long microwave cycle?

The silicone withstands -40 to 230 °C, so it insulates heat but will become warm; use oven gloves when removing hot dishes.

Does the mat need a turntable or can it sit directly on the microwave floor?

It is designed for standard glass turntables of about 9.8 inches diameter and works best when the turntable rotates.

Can I still use my older square glass dishes on this round mat?

Yes, the 9.8 inch honeycomb surface grips square or round containers as long as they fit within the mat's diameter.
