XXL Silicone Stove Cover 28"x20

This extra-large silicone mat measures 28 by 20 inches and covers glass-top electric stoves, countertops or washer-dryer tops. It protects surfaces from scratches, spills and stains while creating an expanded work area for food preparation. The black finish suits most kitchen décors.

Check surface dimensions and heat status

Verify that the cooking zone or countertop is at least 28 by 20 inches so the mat lies flat without overhang. Ensure the appliance is completely cool before placing the cover on it; the material tolerates up to 400°F but must never be used while the element is on. Confirm the surface is smooth so the raised ridges make full contact.

Ideal for multi-task cooks; not for active cooking

Home cooks who want a heat-resistant drying rack, prep station and surface protector in one piece will benefit from the flexible, dishwasher-safe design. Buyers who need a cover that can stay on the hob while burners are operating should look elsewhere. Anyone requiring a rigid cutting board or a fitted cover for gas grates will not find this mat suitable.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need anything else to use it?

The package contains the 28 by 20 inch black silicone cover. No extra parts or tools are required; simply unroll it onto a cool surface.

How do I decide between the available sizes or colours?

This listing offers a single 28 by 20 inch black mat; choose it if those dimensions match your cooktop or counter area.

What does the 400°F heat rating mean when I put a hot pan on it?

The silicone withstands temperatures up to 400°F, so it can safely hold hot pots and pans as a trivet, but never place it on a burner that is turned on.
