A 4U rackmount server chassis supporting ATX, Micro ATX, Mini ITX and CEB boards with five hot-swap 3.5" bays, four internal 3.5" bays, three 5.25" bays and seven expansion slots
The Silverstone RM41-H08 is a 4U rackmount server chassis built from SGCC steel in a silver finish. It accommodates Micro ATX, ATX, Mini ITX and CEB motherboards, making it suitable for a range of server and workstation builds. Seven standard PCI or PCIe expansion slots provide room for add-in cards. Front-panel LEDs show power, system reset and dual network status at a glance.
Confirm that your motherboard matches one of the supported form factors before ordering. The chassis provides three external 5.25-inch bays, five hot-swappable 3.5-inch bays, four internal 3.5-inch bays and three internal 2.5-inch bays, with one bay shared for a slim optical drive. Two front USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A ports are available for quick peripheral access.
The SGCC steel body weighs 23.59 lbs and measures 6.93 by 16.93 by 17.56 inches, fitting standard 4U rack spaces. Drive bays support 2.5-inch drives up to 15 mm thick and a slim optical drive up to 12.7 mm. Builders who need more than seven expansion slots or additional hot-swap bays should consider a larger chassis.

The chassis includes 3 external 5.25" bays, 5 hot-swappable external 3.5" bays, 4 internal 3.5" bays, 2 internal 2.5" bays up to 15mm, one flexible 2.5" bay up to 15mm or slim optical up to 12.7mm, and 2 front USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A ports. Drives, motherboard, PSU and rails are not included.
Use the 5 hot-swappable 3.5" bays for quick-drive access, the 4 internal 3.5" bays for fixed storage, the 2 dedicated 2.5" bays for SSDs up to 15mm, and the flexible bay for an extra 2.5" SSD or a slim optical drive. The 3 external 5.25" bays suit optical drives or front-panel accessories.
With an ATX motherboard the 7 standard PCI/PCIe slots align to the board's seven expansion positions, allowing up to seven full-height add-in cards such as GPUs, NICs or RAID controllers. The 4U height and 17.56" depth provide clearance for long cards and cable routing.
